Ah, so you like spicy foods? Mala is the signature flavor of Sichuan cuisine. A traditional qinma spicy sauce from Sichuan, where I live and which is well-known for their delicious taste. This sauce is for the one that likes his or her flavor’s full-bodied people have described this to me as life-changing.

Sichuan mala is a variety of different spices Red hot chilies, Sichuan peppercorns and Garlic / Ginger paste plays a main role in the ingredients of this simple recipe along with Bean Paste. The Chinese mala broth inclusion of Sichuan peppercorns make the sauce taste pretty unique. So powerful that they can make your mouth a bit tingly and numb. This is why the sauce gets its name “mala,” meaning numbing and spicy in Chinese. It's a flavor escapade trip for your mouth.

The ultimate Cantonese-style dipping sauce for hotpot and fried dumplings

Sichuan mala Hotpot dipping sauce A hotpot is a great way of sharing food; it's an interactive Chinese dish in which you cook raw ingredients like meat, various vegetables and noodles into steaming broth at the table. Then qinma everyone gets to select their winter hotpot favorite things, and the dipping sauce makes it all even yummier. It is great for dipping things like tender beef, crunchy veggies and toothsome dumplings.

I Love fried dumplings, which are a huge favorite snack in China; and this sauce is also IDEAL for serving with them. Every bite is an experience as the spicy sauce marries beautifully with crunchy, savory dumplings.
