Have you ever had hotpot? You get to put this really hearty, delicious meal down on the table and share with family and friends. Hotpot is a unique soup dish where you cook your food yourself at the table in a delicious broth. Hotpot is a ubiquitous meal in China — one variety, called Sichuan hotpot, is notorious for being spicy and flavorful. But what if you don’t consume meat or animal products? Don’t worry at all! Qinma has created special seasonings just so you can join everyone in hotpot.
Sichuan Flavor, Without Meat
Sichuan food is famous for being extremely spicy and very flavorful. A lot of people love it for how unique it tastes, but those who also don’t eat meat might miss out a bit on that cuisine choice. That’s why Qinma developed these specific hotpot seasonings. They all have the great tastes of Sichuan food, but don’t include any animal products. So you can beat that special, good and mouthful taste of Sichaun hotpot as well as keeping to your plant vitamin diet.
Choose Your Spice Level
For those who love spicy food, Sichuan hotpot may be the dish for you. We have a range of hotpot seasonings with varying spice levels, so you can choose the one that suits you best. Many hotpot seasoning sauces are available, whether you’d like something mild that won’t be too hot or you’d like something that will make your taste buds tingle. All of these seasonings are 100% vegetarian so you can have a worry-free and guilt-free hotpot.
How to Make Hotpot Using Qinma’s Seasonings
I am as pleased to make hotpot with Qinma's seasonings. So first you will need a hotpot cooker, or a large enough pot that you can boil the broth in. Then, you simply sprinkle the seasoning packets into the pot — and let the broth simmer for a few minutes. This means that all those delicious flavors come in together to create a flavorful broth. Once done, you can prepare your favourite resources from plant-based ingredients. You can fill rollings with foods, including tofu, mushrooms, fresh vegetables, or noodles. If you want, you can even throw in some meat substitutes, like seitan or plant-based faux meat. Once all of the components are prepped, you’ll dip whatever your heart desires into the bubbling pea pod broth and cook it to your liking. And there you go! You are having a scrumptious hotpot dinner that you prepared by yourself.
