Refresh Your Appetizer Game with Homemade Tomato Dip

For something a bit more exotic then you can make up some tomato dip. Root around in the fridge for more dinner ideas and, next you know dice. Slice an onion, mince some garlic; sauté in olive oil. This smells so good in your kitchen!! Add a can of tomato sauce and freshly chopped basil (Get these cans!) Season lightly with salt and pepper, then add a pinch of sugar to help cut the bitterness. Allow everything to cook together for a minute or two so all flavors will merge.
