For an excellent soup you will want beef or pork bones. These are the best kind of bones because this bone will contribute a lot of richness and a silky texture to your soup. You can use frozen bones or fresh ones. Just remember to wash them well under cold water to ensure they’re clean and ready to be cooked.
Then it’s time to add some herbs and vegetables. Bay leaves, parsley, thyme and rosemary are our go-to herbs for building out a base soup.
